PADUCAH, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI), a provider of end-to-end technology solutions that empower financial institutions to remain competitive, compliant and profitable, has promoted Zaid Akhter to vice president of sales for the company’s Western region.
As regional vice president, Akhter will lead CSI’s Western region sales team and direct the company’s strategic sales initiatives for financial institutions throughout Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Nebraska, Kansas, Hawaii and Alaska. Working closely with Chief Sales Officer George McGourty, Akhter and his business development team will focus on expanding CSI’s position as the leading total solutions provider for banks in the Western region. Their efforts will include demonstrating CSI’s service-focused culture and such leading industry solutions as core bank processing, payment solutions, statement printing and mailing, financial cloud services and watch list screening.
With more than 20 years of experience in the information technology (IT) industry, Akhter previously served for seven years as a CSI business development director, working with more than 100 banks and credit unions along the West Coast. Akhter also is a frequently quoted industry expert in such key areas of banking technology as cloud services and FFIEC compliance, and he speaks regularly on cloud computing, social media and IT cloud security at industry events.
