NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PLAYMOBIL®, creator of the iconic children’s toys, will launch its first annual National Day of Play on November 20, 2010 at retailers across the country as they re-introduce children to the benefits of classic play time.
The celebration is a day-long event held with the aim of encouraging children to play together using their imagination. On this day, PLAYMOBIL USA invites families nationwide to visit a participating retailer near them for the opportunity to play with an assortment of PLAYMOBIL sets and feel the excitement that children experience through hours of unrestricted play.
“Children today need a chance to play with toys that will allow them to really explore their own creativity,” said Michelle Winfrey, Marketing and Compliance Manager. “National Day of Play will allow kids to do this by returning to uninhibited imaginative play through PLAYMOBIL.”
During this time, families can enjoy some hands-on play as children explore a variety of realms with the help of PLAYMOBIL’s various playworlds.
