NCR Voyix Promotes Darren Wilson to President and Names Brendan Tansill President, Retail and Payments

Leadership appointments align Retail, Restaurants and Payments around a unified strategy for the next phase of growth

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NCR Voyix Corporation (NYSE: VYX) (“NCR Voyix” or the “Company”), a platform-powered leader in unified commerce for shopping and dining, today announced the appointment of Darren Wilson as President and Brendan Tansill as Executive Vice President and President, Retail and Payments.

These appointments strengthen the Company’s leadership as it expands adoption of its Voyix Commerce Platform applications and advances its software, services and payments strategy across Retail and Restaurants.

Darren Wilson – President

As President, Mr. Wilson will oversee the Company’s Retail and Restaurant sales organizations, customer operations and support, product strategy and deployment, and payments. He will continue to report directly to James G. Kelly, Chief Executive Officer of NCR Voyix.

“As more retailers and restaurants adopt our Voyix Commerce Platform applications, we are seeing increasing opportunities to deliver greater value across our two segments,” said Mr. Kelly. “Darren has driven significant progress across our Retail and payments businesses. As President, he will lead the Retail and Restaurant teams in executing our unified software, services and payments strategy, accelerating growth and driving greater efficiencies across the organization.”

Mr. Wilson has more than 20 years of experience leading financial technology companies. He previously served as the Company’s Executive Vice President and President, Retail and Payments. Before joining NCR Voyix in November 2024, Mr. Wilson served as Executive Vice President and President, International at EVO Payments, Inc., until its acquisition by Global Payments, Inc. in March 2023.

“I’m honored to take on this new role,” said Mr. Wilson. “Our customers are looking for simpler ways to modernize their operations and connect how they sell, serve and accept payments. By aligning our Retail and Restaurants businesses, we can make it easier for customers to adopt our technology, accelerate time to value and realize greater benefits from our platform.”

Brendan Tansill – Executive Vice President and President, Retail and Payments

Mr. Tansill returns to NCR Voyix after serving as Chief Executive Officer of Candescent, formerly NCR Voyix’s Digital Banking business, which was sold to Veritas Capital in 2024. In his new role, he will lead NCR Voyix’s Retail and payments businesses and report directly to Mr. Wilson.

“Brendan brings deep expertise in software and financial technology that will help drive continued growth across our Retail and payments businesses,” said Mr. Kelly. “He will work with the team to continue to strengthen customer relationships, accelerate adoption of our Voyix Commerce Platform applications and scale our business to capture the opportunities ahead.”

Prior to leading Candescent, Mr. Tansill served as Executive Vice President and President, Digital Banking, at NCR Voyix. Previously, he served as President of the Americas at EVO Payments, Inc., until its acquisition by Global Payments, Inc.

“I’m excited to return to NCR Voyix at this important stage in the Company’s strategic journey,” said Mr. Tansill. “Building on the strong foundation Darren and the Retail and payments teams have established, my focus will be on deepening and expanding customer relationships across the industry verticals we serve through disciplined execution and a continued focus on customer value.”

These leadership appointments come as NCR Voyix continues to broaden adoption of its Voyix Commerce Platform applications, supported by recently announced agreements with leading retail and restaurant operators, including Ahold Delhaize USA, A.S. Watson, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, First Watch Restaurants, Rutter’s and Sbarro.
