The 2026 ISG Provider Lens® AWS Ecosystem Partners report for Brazil finds that companies are taking unified approaches to application modernization, data management and artificial intelligence as economic pressure sharpens their focus on productivity. Rapid advances in AI are increasing demand for local computing and connectivity infrastructure, while regulation of AI, cybersecurity and digital sovereignty affects technology strategies. Security, data residency and traceability are increasingly important requirements, especially in the public sector and highly regulated industries.
“Enterprise cloud agendas in Brazil are becoming less focused on capacity and more on business architecture,” said Anay Nawathe, ISG cloud delivery lead for the Americas. “The test is whether companies can organize data, controls and operating accountability well enough for AI to perform reliably within core processes.”
Brazilian companies are adopting AI agents for tasks such as process automation, customer service and software development, increasing the need for practices such as AgentOps to set clear responsibilities for managing these tools. As AI use expands, organizations are acting to ensure data is reliable and well governed and achieve better observability of models, agents and sensitive information. Companies are also strengthening identity controls, data protection and continuity to meet expectations for responsible AI use.
Enterprises in Brazil are becoming more selective about application modernization as they decide which systems to rebuild, which to modify selectively and which to keep in place. Many are implementing automation and AI for IT operations (AIOps) to achieve more autonomous operating models. The use of FinOps for AI is also expanding, helping companies assess spending and returns more consistently.
Midsize companies account for a significant share of demand for cloud, data and AI services in Brazil as they modernize applications and increase automation. Many operate complex technology environments but lack the internal capacity for transformation programs. As a result, they are seeking delivery models that combine guidance, implementation and ongoing operations at a pace and budget suited to their size.
“Brazil’s midsize market wants transformation models that are practical and repeatable,” said Adriana Frantz, lead author of the report. “Providers that offer integrated modernization, operational improvements and cost visibility can help clients progress without building large internal transformation teams.”
The report also explores other AWS trends in Brazil, including the growing demand for specialized technical skills and for cloud solutions tailored to specific industries.
