Mac Haik Auto Group Acquires Property on Dallas North Tollway in Celina for New Dealership

Rendering of New Chevrolet Dealership in Celina, TX

CELINA, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mac Haik Auto Group has purchased approximately 25 acres near the corner of Frontier Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway in Celina for a new Chevrolet dealership.

Mac Haik purchased the land from the family trust of Tom Mosey. Ryan Turner, David Davidson Jr. and Edward Bogel of Davidson Bogel represented the seller, Tom Mosey, in the transaction. Mac Haik was represented by Sam Clayton and Adam Sheriff of Brown & Griffin Real Estate.

Plans for the dealership include a 100,000 square-foot facility, featuring 60 service bays, making it one of the largest Chevrolet dealerships in the country. Mac Haik and Chevrolet worked extensively with the city of Celina to identify the right site to plant their flag.

Josh Potts, CEO of Mac Haik Chevrolet, said the dealership has plans to connect with local first responders, schools and "everything that supports the local community." The dealership will also contract with local employers to continue fueling the local economy.

"If it costs us a little bit more money to use a local vendor, we're always going to use a local vendor," Potts said. "We always want to support the people inside the community, because they support us.”

Mac Haik operates 17 dealerships across the country, including 13 in Texas, for Ford, Lincoln, Hyundai, Dodge, Ram and Chevrolet.
