Patterson Companies Appoints Ryan Steines as Chief Financial Officer

Experienced finance leader brings more than 25 years of strategic, operational and capital allocation expertise to support the company's next phase of growth

ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Patterson Companies, Inc. today announced the appointment of Ryan Steines as Chief Financial Officer, effective Nov. 3, 2026.

Steines joins Patterson with more than 25 years of finance leadership experience, including a distinguished career at Medtronic, where he most recently served as Segment CFO for the Cardiovascular Portfolio, the company's largest business portfolio, with nearly $16 billion in annual revenue. In that role, he helped lead a portfolio-wide turnaround focused on accelerating growth, optimizing capital allocation and supporting the consolidation of multiple operating units to improve performance and efficiency.

As Chief Financial Officer, Steines will lead Patterson's finance organization and partner closely with the executive leadership team and Board of Directors to support the company's growth strategy, ongoing transformation initiatives and long-term value creation.

Prior to joining Patterson, Steines spent more than two decades at Medtronic in finance leadership roles of increasing responsibility. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Saint John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
