Dropzone AI Achieves FedRAMP High (Class D) Certification Through Second Front, Opening Federal Agencies to Agentic Security Operations

Dropzone AI now brings the same capability it runs in production across 400+ environments, to federal agencies, giving them a scalable answer to alert volume their teams cannot cover by hand.

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dropzone AI and Second Front (2F), a public-benefit software company powering software for the free world, today announced that Dropzone AI’s SOC Analyst has achieved FedRAMP High (Class D) Certification through the 2F Game Warden® Platform, making its agentic investigation capability available to United States federal agencies for production use. The AI SOC Analyst has been listed in the FedRAMP Marketplace under Second Front’s 2F Game Warden listing.

FedRAMP Certification is a strict requirement for cloud service providers serving the federal government. Achieving this milestone validates – through independent, third-party assessment – that the Dropzone AI SOC Analyst meets the U.S. federal government's rigorous, NIST-based security standards for handling and protecting sensitive federal data.

Federal agencies get the same capability running in commercial environments today, not a reduced government edition. A collective of specialized AI agents investigates every alert end to end, gathering context from the security tooling an agency already runs, reaching a conclusion, and producing a written investigation report with its reasoning attached. There are no playbooks to build and no prompts to maintain. Analysts stay in command of every verdict, and the agents work within the bounds the agency sets. The same capability is in production across more than 400 deployments along with 2 Fortune 50 customers.

The certification builds on Dropzone AI’s partnership with Leidos, announced on March 10, 2026, to expand government access to commercial AI technology for cyber defense. Leidos works with Dropzone AI to tailor its technology for federal security operations and integrates it into broader cybersecurity offerings, while Second Front provides the 2F Game Warden® platform for secure government deployment.

In the announcement, Steve Hull, President, Leidos Digital, said that customers want practical ways to use AI rather than experiments. He went on, "This partnership helps federal agencies address the growing threat landscape while working to improve response times, reduce analyst fatigue, and stay compliant with federal security rules."

“Federal cyber defenders carry an enormous responsibility: protecting our country’s most sensitive information and the services people depend on. They shouldn’t have to face that mission outnumbered by adversaries,” said Edward Wu, Founder and CEO of Dropzone AI. “We built Dropzone AI to give defenders the reinforcements they deserve, the analytical capacity to investigate every alert and the breathing room to focus where their judgment matters most. Bringing this capability to federal agencies is a milestone I’m deeply proud of.”

“Commercial AI is changing what’s possible in cyber defense, and federal agencies need a secure path to take advantage of it,” said Hull. “This certification marks important progress in our work with Dropzone AI and Second Front to help agencies adopt these capabilities and strengthen our national security.”

“This is what the model looks like when it works: a proven commercial product, an accredited platform, and a partner with deep federal experience taking it to agencies together,” said Nick Woodruff, General Manager, North America at Second Front. “We look forward to continuing alongside Dropzone AI and Leidos as federal agencies adopt the AI SOC Analyst.”
