Aratas to Showcase Relay Solutions, Hydrogen and Weather Sensor Technology at RE+ 2026

Technologies target high-voltage testing, localized weather monitoring, and battery energy storage safety

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aratas America LLC (formerly OMRON Electronic Components), the trusted innovative technology solutions provider, will showcase solutions supporting renewable energy, energy storage, and smart infrastructure at RE+ 2026. The event will take place November 16–19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. At Booth #C6554 in the Central Hall, the Aratas team will showcase live demonstrations and innovative electronic solutions designed to support the evolving energy market.

“Reliable, efficient components and monitoring technologies play an important role in advancing energy infrastructure,” said Javi Tiggelaar, business development associate at Aratas America LLC. “At RE+ 2026, we’re highlighting solutions designed to address challenges ranging from high-voltage equipment performance to localized weather monitoring and battery safety.”

Featured technologies at this year’s event include:

  • Hydrogen Sensor (Under Development): Designed to detect hydrogen gas released during the thermal runaway process of lithium-ion batteries, this heaterless sensor features high hydrogen selectivity to help prevent false alarms caused by other gases. It is intended for applications including battery energy storage systems (BESS), industrial uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and data centers.
  • G9KJ/G9KD High-Capacity Relays: Helps support safe, efficient switching in high-voltage DC applications, including EV charging infrastructure and energy storage systems (ESS). The G9KD supports high-capacity switching, while the compact G9KJ is optimized for pre-charge applications to help protect components and improve system reliability.
  • Weather Sensor: Collects weather data for energy infrastructure, agriculture, and smart city applications, the Weather Sensor measures wind direction, wind velocity, rainfall, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and luminance. Its easy-to-install design, lack of moving parts, and typical power consumption of 0.8 W to 1.4 W support low-maintenance operation.
  • G3VH High Voltage SiC MOSFET Relay: Supports equipment requiring enhanced voltage withstand capabilities, the relay supports high voltages of 1800 V and 3300 V, with a withstand voltage of 5,000 V between input and output. Its low on-resistance, low leakage current, and compact size help minimize power loss and heat generation while supporting equipment miniaturization.

Together, these technologies demonstrate Aratas’ work across component-level performance, environmental monitoring, and emerging battery safety applications. Attendees visiting the booth will have the opportunity to learn more about how the company’s solutions can support the evolving needs of energy and infrastructure systems.
