SOLVE Names Joe Plastina Co-CEO, Eugene Grinberg Transitions to Chairman

Plastina will lead alongside co-founder Gerard Nealon as Grinberg remains actively involved in client relationships and company strategy

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SOLVE, a leading provider of pre-trade data and predictive pricing for fixed income securities markets, today announced that Joe Plastina, its chief financial officer and chief operating officer, will join Gerard Nealon as co-CEO. Eugene Grinberg, who has served as co-CEO since he co-founded the company with Nealon in 2011, will transition to chairman.

The leadership changes come as SOLVE continues to expand its business, now serving more than 325 sophisticated financial firms worldwide. The new structure will allow Grinberg to focus more of his time on client relationships, industry engagement and the company's strategic direction. Nealon’s role will not change.

"SOLVE has reached a point in its growth where this leadership structure makes sense for the business and allows each of us to focus on where we can contribute the most," said Grinberg. "Gerard and Joe bring complementary strengths to leading the company, and I'm looking forward to spending more time with our clients and the broader fixed income community."

Plastina brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, corporate development, strategy, and operations at enterprise technology companies, including involvement in more than $4 billion in acquisitions and divestitures. Before joining SOLVE, he held senior roles at several fintechs and served as a consultant and fractional CFO to private equity-backed firms.

"I'm excited to take on this expanded role alongside Gerard as we build on SOLVE's momentum," said Plastina. "My focus will remain on strengthening our operations, supporting our teams and ensuring we have the foundation in place to continue growing the business and serving our clients over the long term."

"Joe's experience in finance, operations and corporate development complements the strengths of our leadership team," said Nealon. "As we look ahead, our priority is to continue building on what we've established at SOLVE, expanding our capabilities and delivering more value to the fixed income market."
