Michelle Lehmann Joins Mowery & Schoenfeld as Assurance Leader and Partner

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mowery & Schoenfeld, a top 150 advisory, consulting, and accounting firm marking its 30^th anniversary in 2026, today announced the hiring of Michelle Lehmann as Assurance Partner and the key leader of its audit practice. Lehmann brings more than 20 years of public accounting and assurance experience, with a background in audit leadership, strategic planning, change management, and coaching and mentoring.

In her role, Lehmann will help strengthen the service line’s market presence and support the team’s professional development while enhancing client experience. Her appointment also aligns with the Firm’s dedication to developing and elevating more women leaders at all levels.

Lehmann has experience working with manufacturing, professional services, and technology clients, among many other industries. She previously served as Partner and Regional Assurance Practice Leader-Midwest at Citrin Cooperman; Head of Audit & Assurance at ORBA; and Managing Director, Audit Solution Delivery and other roles at Grant Thornton LLP. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University.
