FiT Names Jamie Shafiee Vice President of Strategic Markets

Legal industry veteran brings nearly 20 years of relationship-driven growth to FiT

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Future in Tech (FiT), a leader in information governance and records management, today announces the appointment of Jamie Shafiee as Vice President of Strategic Markets. Shafiee brings nearly 20 years of experience in the legal industry, helping organizations grow through trusted partnerships, new opportunities, and results that matter.

Throughout her career, Shafiee has consistently driven account growth and net-new business, earning three Chairman’s Club awards. She joins FiT from equiDOCx and previously held strategic growth and business development roles at nQ Zebraworks and Iron Mountain, working with some of the largest law firms in the country.

“Jamie is one of the most respected relationship builders in legal,” said Jules Buenabenta, CEO of FiT. “She understands how law firms manage information in every form, from physical records to digital content, and she knows the people responsible for it. That perspective is exactly what we need as more firms look for governance that keeps pace with how they operate.”

In her new role, Shafiee leads FiT’s strategic relationships and market growth, with a focus on making FiT an indispensable partner to the legal industry’s leading firms. She drives growth within strategic accounts, expands FiT’s footprint across the AmLaw 100, and builds executive-level relationships that create long-term value for clients. Shafiee works closely with FiT’s sales, product, and customer success teams to strengthen FiT’s market presence and build a repeatable strategy for scaling across legal, corporate, and education organizations.

“Bringing Jamie on accelerates our growth with the firms we serve today and opens doors in the markets we’re expanding into next,” said Anthony Forde, Chief Revenue Officer of FiT. “She builds long-term partnerships, she earns trust at the highest levels of the AmLaw, and she delivers results.”

The appointment comes as law firms look to turn information governance from a compliance requirement into a business advantage. Every firm wants to better manage documents, strengthen compliance, and operate more efficiently. FiT simplifies that complexity, improves adoption, and helps firms get more value from the information they rely on every day. As FiT grows, the goal is to become the trusted partner firms turn to when they want to work smarter, reduce risk, and prepare for what’s next.

“After almost 20 years in legal tech, I’ve become pretty selective about what gets my attention,” said Shafiee. “FiT is one of those rare solutions that can be a game changer for firms of any size, and the company has tremendous potential to shape the future of legal technology. I wasn’t brought in simply to maintain momentum. I was brought in to help accelerate it.”
