Legit Security Appoints Eitan Worcel as Chief Strategy Officer

Mobb co-founder brings nearly two decades of application security experience to help accelerate Legit’s growth and execute its Agentic AppSec strategy

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Legit Security, the leader in agentic application security, today announced that Eitan Worcel joined the company as Chief Strategy Officer. Worcel, who co-founded automated remediation company Mobb, will report to CEO and co-founder Roni Fuchs out of the company’s Boston office and join the company’s leadership team. As head of strategy, Worcel’s mandate is to accelerate Legit’s growth by expanding its presence in the market, opening new strategic opportunities, and ensure Legit responds to quickly evolving customer requirements.

Worcel has close to 20 years’ experience in AppSec, and he’s seen the problem from nearly every angle: as a developer, as the product leader for HCL AppScan, and as a founder. He co-founded Mobb in 2021 to go after a gap that detection tools had left open for years, as security teams failed to address issues as fast a scanning tools uncovered them. Mobb took first place in the Black Hat USA 2023 Startup Spotlight competition.

That remediation gap has only gotten wider with the rapid adoption of AI coding agents that push code into production faster than human-led AppSec processes can review it. Legit’s platform was built for this shift. It uses context about each application’s business criticality, data sensitivity, and exposure to remediate the highest-risk issues first, then feeds those fixes back into AI coding agents so fewer vulnerabilities get introduced in the future.

“Eitan has spent his career on the hardest part of AppSec: getting vulnerabilities fixed, not just found,” said Roni Fuchs, CEO and co-founder of Legit. “He was building automated remediation before most of the market believed in it. Now that AI is writing so much of the world’s code, that conviction looks a lot like foresight. He knows what security leaders are up against, and he’ll help us decide where to push next as we take prevention all the way to the point of code generation.”

“I’ve known Legit’s leadership team for some time and followed the company’s evolution closely. Conversations with security leaders across the industry reinforced my confidence in both the team and the direction they’re taking,” said Worcel. “Joining Legit is an opportunity to help shape that direction and address challenges I’ve spent much of my career working to solve.”
