Linqto Successfully Exits From Voluntary Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection

Exit Comes 15 Months After Filing, Following Court Approval of Modified Plan of Reorganization

Customers Expected To Recover 90% - 92% of the Current Market Value of Assets

SAN JOSE, Calif. & HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Linqto, Inc. today announced that it successfully exited from voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Linqto filed for bankruptcy protection on July 7, 2025 and the Company’s First Modified Plan of Reorganization (“the Plan”) was confirmed by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas on October 22, 2026.

“Just 15 months after filing Chapter 11, Linqto is emerging from bankruptcy with an extraordinary outcome for its more than 13,000 customers, who were victims of fraud committed under prior management,” said Dan Siciliano, CEO of Linqto.

Under the terms of the Plan, Linqto customers were able to allocate their claim to a Closed-End Fund, a Liquidating Trust, or a combination of both. The Closed-End Fund will be listed on a national exchange and managed by VanEck. BW Asset Management Ltd, a Kroll company, was selected as Trustee of the Liquidating Trust.

“Just 15 months after filing Chapter 11, Linqto is emerging from bankruptcy with an extraordinary outcome for its more than 13,000 customers, who were victims of fraud committed under prior management,” said Dan Siciliano, CEO of Linqto. “The bankruptcy process not only put an end to the fraud, but also protected customer investments and preserved the opportunity for their portfolios to grow in value. In fact, the portfolio of customer assets appreciated during the restructuring, and customers are expected to recover approximately 90% to 92% of the current market value of their investments - not merely the original amount they invested. I want to personally thank the Linqto team, the Linqto managers, and the professional advisors who worked tirelessly to get to this outcome on behalf of customers under extremely adverse conditions.”
