Sweetgreen Refreshes its Housemade Beverage Lineup with New Flavors

The two new flavors and two refreshed favorites are all made in sweetgreen kitchens.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sweetgreen today announced it is rolling out a refreshed Housemade Beverage lineup, including two new flavors. Tropical Black Tea and Fresh Blackberry Basil will join updated recipes for two customer favorites, the Signature Lemonade and Ginger Greens, across 120 locations.

The refresh will also include a new 24oz cup size in addition to the existing 16oz offering. Drinks are made fresh in-house from real fruit, vegetables, fresh herbs and agave as a sweetener. The new Tropical Black Tea contains no sweetener. The drinks are a natural extension of how sweetgreen has always approached food: start with real, whole ingredients and let them lead.

Guests are making drinks part of their sweetgreen routine, whether it’s paired with lunch or as an afternoon pick-me-up. The share of transactions including a beverage has increased nearly 25% since sweetgreen introduced its initial housemade beverages at participating locations. The refresh builds on that momentum, with each drink designed to elevate the overall dining experience, creating pairings that feel intentional and balanced.

“At sweetgreen, we’re always exploring new ways to bring bold, delicious flavors to the menu,” said Nicolas Jammet, Co-Founder and Chief Concept Officer of sweetgreen. “We made them slightly less sweet so the blackberry, basil and ginger come through first, and every drink is crafted to complement the meal. A drink is often the last thing someone adds to their order, and we want it to be one of the parts they look forward to most.”

The Housemade Beverage lineup includes:

  • Tropical Black Tea (NEW) – Bold black tea with tropical fruit and toasted coconut notes.
  • Fresh Blackberry Basil (NEW) – Juicy blackberry with fresh, fragrant basil.
  • Signature Lemonade (REFRESHED) – Bright, citrusy, and exceptionally refreshing.
  • Ginger Greens (REFRESHED) – Sweet apple, fresh spinach, and zesty ginger.

Order in-store, on the sweetgreen app or at sweetgreen.com for pickup or delivery, and follow @sweetgreen on Instagram and TikTok for the latest.
