FICS® Introduces LoanLogix IQ™ Intelligence Software to Simplify the Mortgage Loan Approval Process in Loan Producer®

New tool flags missing or invalid loan data, advances qualifying loans automatically and enables customization

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Financial Industry Computer Systems, Inc. (FICS®), a leading provider of mortgage loan origination software, residential servicing software, and commercial servicing software, launched LoanLogix IQ™, an intelligence software that uses automation to streamline the most common tasks in the mortgage loan approval process. This beneficial tool also blends seamlessly into FICS’ Loan Producer®, FICS’ residential loan origination software.

FICS introduces LoanLogix IQ, bringing built-in automation to Loan Producer. Lenders can customize approval workflows, flag missing or invalid data and automatically advance qualifying loans within their existing mortgage loan origination software.

With LoanLogix IQ, lenders build decision criteria from their own underwriting guidelines and closing conditions, then group those criteria into frameworks that automate tasks tied to each step of the loan approval workflow. This makes lenders more efficient, as loans that meet the criteria automatically move to the next step and trigger notifications. Loans that fall short generate explanations and tasks to resolve and follow up on the loan.

In recent years, lenders have increasingly sought out loan processing solutions to improve customer experience, reduce manual, repetitive tasks and make it easier to meet compliance standards. Per a 2025 survey by STRATMOR, more lenders want to move away from external robotic process automation (RPA), which, while helpful, isn’t as adaptable. Instead, lenders are looking for mortgage loan origination systems (LOS) with built-in automation that enable adaptability, reliability, and greater functionality.

"Lenders want automation that works inside their LOS instead of relying on external tools that may be less compatible or more expensive to run," said FICS Co-President and Chief Technology Officer Aaron Lynch. "When we developed LoanLogix IQ, we knew we could integrate this directly into the product and give lenders a more useful way to run and track loan-level data requirement checks. The result is a user-friendly tool that reduces loan closing time, increases quality assurance, and enables customization of underwriting and closing conditions, all within their existing loan software.”
