Tagup Achieves Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2

Independent assessment verifies Tagup's implementation of the security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information on Department of War programs

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tagup, a defense technology company turning logistics uncertainty into decision advantage with next-generation AI, today announced it has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 following an independent assessment by Sera Brynn, an authorized CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO).

CMMC Level 2 requires implementation of the 110 security requirements in NIST Special Publication 800-171 Revision 2 for the protection of CUI. The assessment evaluates safeguards organizations use to protect CUI, including access controls, incident response, personnel security, and system monitoring. For defense customers and industry partners, this certification provides independent verification that Tagup has implemented the required safeguards to process, store, and transmit CUI in support of their programs.

“Commanders make critical sustainment decisions using Manifest. Protecting the information behind those decisions is our responsibility,” said Jon Garrity, CEO of Tagup. “This certification gives our customers independent verification of the safeguards we have in place so they can focus on what actually drives readiness.”

Tagup’s Manifest platform enables commanders and logisticians to rapidly generate and evaluate courses of action across supply, maintenance, and mobilization. For programs involving CUI, protecting that information is a necessary part of delivering meaningful decision advantage.

The certification marks an important milestone in Tagup’s ongoing commitment to protecting customer information in support of defense missions.
