Xsolla Announces Direct Co-Marketing Campaigns Between Payment Providers and Video Game Developers

Providers Will Soon Be Able To Launch Co-Marketing Campaigns, Such As Cashback For Their Payment Method, In Xsolla Pay Station, Directly From Their Account

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Xsolla, a global commerce company, today unveiled plans for Co-Marketing Campaigns, an upcoming self-serve tool in Xsolla Business Account for Payment Providers that lets payment providers initiate and manage marketing campaigns directly with video game developers. Xsolla will preview it at Money20/20 USA in Las Vegas, October 18 - 21, 2026, in meeting room Veronese 2505.

Video games drive major consumer spending, but payment providers that process many of those payments have had limited ways to participate in the marketing and engagement opportunities that follow. With access to more than 1,500 video game developers and their players, Xsolla will help payment providers turn payment insights into direct marketing partnerships through Co-Marketing Campaigns.

Available directly within Xsolla Business Account for Payment Providers, the new capability gives providers visibility into how their payment methods perform across video games, helping them identify opportunities and collaborate with developers through a streamlined campaign process.

Co-Marketing Campaigns run in four steps, all inside Xsolla Business Account for Payment Providers:

  • Spot the opportunity: see which video games perform best on your payment method. Analytics, video games, and top performers sit in one dashboard, so providers can see where their customers already play and spend.
  • Create the campaign: pick an activity, for example, cashback for players who pay with your method in a specific video game, and send the request. It all happens in the providers’ existing accounts, with no separate tool needed.
  • Developer accepts: the video game developer receives the request, reviews it, and accepts. Nothing goes live until both sides agree, so every campaign is a joint one.
  • Xsolla sets it up: the promotion goes live at checkout in Xsolla Pay Station and on a dedicated page on x.la. Xsolla handles the setup, and players see the offer, such as a cashback banner, right at checkout.

From insight to a live promotion, the whole flow runs from one account.

"Payment providers have long competed mostly on rate," said Chris Hewish, President of Xsolla. "Co-Marketing Campaigns give them a way to win on more than that, with promotions built around the video games their customers already play. It turns a payment relationship into a marketing one, and it runs from the account they already have."

Xsolla is also expanding partnership opportunities for financial institutions, with new initiatives in development to help banks engage with video game audiences through loyalty points, branded stores, and cardholder promotions. More details will be announced soon.

Co-Marketing Campaigns are coming soon to payment providers in Xsolla Business Account for Payment Providers. To meet the Xsolla team at Money20/20 USA in Las Vegas, drop by meeting room Veronese 2505 or schedule a meeting to discuss future marketing opportunities.
