ZP Better Together Becomes ZP Connect

New name signals a new era of technology-enabled human connection, innovation and customer experience

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ZP Better Together today announced that it is becoming ZP Connect, a name that reflects the company’s continued transformation and its focus on making every interaction more accessible, intuitive, and human.

"ZP Connect represents a future where Deaf perspectives help lead innovation and where every customer experience is designed with access, dignity, and real human connection from the start."

The new identity carries forward ZP’s long-standing commitment to the Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities while expressing a broader ambition for what comes next: technology that enables communication, service experiences that build trust, and human expertise that creates meaningful connection across home, work and everyday life.

Connection shaped by Deaf experience

ZP Connect’s next chapter remains grounded in Deaf experience and in the company’s roots as an organization founded by and for the Deaf community. That perspective informs how ZP listens, designs, measures quality and improves the customer journey.

“As a Deaf leader, I know connection is not an abstract idea — it shapes whether we can participate fully, advocate for ourselves, and be understood in the moments that matter. ZP Connect represents a future where Deaf perspectives help lead innovation and where every customer experience is designed with access, dignity, and real human connection from the start.”
— Chris Estrin, Chief Experience Officer, ZP Connect

A name built for what comes next

ZP Connect brings a forward-looking identity — one that reflects connection as both the purpose of the company and the outcome customers should feel in every experience.

The change reflects a company-wide focus on innovation and customer experience. ZP Connect will build accessible communication solutions around modern digital technologies and human usability.

“ZP Connect is more than a new name—it is our promise to make everyday communication easier for our deaf and hard-of-hearing customers. We are committed to delivering industry-leading products and solutions that combine modern technology, including responsible AI, with a human touch that defines our service.”
— Jeff Cordell, Chief Executive Officer, ZP Connect

A seamless transition

Effective October 6, 2026, ZP Better Together will operate under the ZP Connect brand, and the ZVRS and Purple brands will be retired. Existing services will continue without interruption. Customers will keep their current phone numbers, account credentials, and contacts, and no action is required. zpconnect.com will go live today, and zpbettertogether.com will redirect visitors to the new site.

ZP One coming soon

ZP Connect is also preparing to introduce ZP One, a new app designed to give P3 and Z5 customers a simpler, more unified experience. Ease of use, security, compliance, and improved customer support are guiding its development. More details will be shared soon on how VRS users can join the ZP One experience at ZP.one.
