Westwin Elements’ Micah Sartin Named to 2026 NextGen Under 30 Oklahoma Class

OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Westwin Elements’ Chief Development Officer, Micah Sartin, has been selected for the 2026 NextGen Under 30 Oklahoma class. The NextGen Under 30 program recognizes young professionals who demonstrate leadership, innovation and dedication to making a meaningful impact in their careers and communities.

Sartin initially joined Westwin Elements as a Vice President, supporting the company’s daily operations before he was promoted to the role of Chief Development Officer in September 2023. In his current role, Sartin leads Westwin’s fundraising and business development functions.

Westwin Elements is the only U.S. nickel refining company expanding domestic production of high-purity nickel for national security and industrial applications. The company operates a demonstration plant in Lawton, Oklahoma, as it advances plans to increase refining capacity and works to strengthen the U.S. nickel supply chain.

“Micah has played a pivotal role in helping Westwin grow from an ambitious idea into America’s only nickel carbonyl refinery,” said KaLeigh Long, Founder and CEO of Westwin Elements. “He brings energy and sound judgement to our plans for commercial operations and to the partnerships helping us get there. I am proud to see him recognized among Oklahoma’s next generation of leaders.”

“I am grateful for this recognition and for the people I get to work with every day,” added Sartin. “Building the only major nickel refinery in the United States takes a committed team and partners who believe in what we’re doing. I’m fortunate to be a part of that work here in Oklahoma.”

The NextGen Under 30 program celebrates innovative, creative and inspiring Oklahomans under the age of 30, with this year’s honorees set to be recognized at the 13th annual Award Ceremony on November 6.
