Schachter Joins Centerview Partners as a Partner to Lead Capital Advisory Business

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Centerview Partners, a premier independent investment-banking advisory firm, announced today that Bennett Schachter has joined as a Partner in New York to lead and further expand its Capital Advisory offering.

Mr. Schachter comes to Centerview with decades of public and private capital-markets experience across equity, equity-linked, credit, structured products and alternative-capital solutions. His addition will further enhance Centerview’s broad range of Capital Advisory capabilities and strategic financing advice.

Prior to joining Centerview, Mr. Schachter worked at Elliott Management Corporation, where he was responsible for the firm’s capital-markets and financing-solutions efforts; Morgan Stanley, where he was global head of the firm’s Alternative and Capital Solutions businesses; and Goldman Sachs, where he held various leadership positions in the firm’s Capital Markets division, including head of Global Alternative Capital Solutions, head of Equity Syndicate and head of Global Equity-Linked Solutions. He also worked in the Convertible Bonds and Derivatives and Institutional Equities groups in Goldman’s Securities division.
