Nile Appoints Srinivas Kavuri as Chief Development Officer

Seasoned engineering leader brings 25+ years of experience to advance Nile's vision of bringing a generational shift in networking with its secure and autonomous Network-as-a-Service platform

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nile, the pioneer and leader of Secure Network-as-a-Service (NaaS), today announces the appointment of Srinivas Kavuri as Chief Development Officer (CDO). In this role, Kavuri will report to CEO Pankaj Patel, leading the global engineering organization.

Kavuri joins Nile from Zscaler, where he served as Senior Vice President of Engineering and most recently led the development of a platform unifying multiple Zscaler cloud services.

Before Zscaler, Kavuri held engineering leadership positions at companies like Cisco, Veritas Technologies, Mobile Iron and CommVault systems, working at the nexus of networking, security and cloud.

Kavuri holds numerous patents in cloud storage, data management and security. He earned undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani, India, and graduate degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Iowa.
