ARC Announces $4.7M Contract Award With Army CPE ST3 to Integrate AI-Enabled Weapon Sensors Into Live Collective Training

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Armaments Research Company (ARC), Inc., a leader in advanced defense technology solutions, has been awarded a $4.7 million Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) supporting Capability Program Executive Simulation, Training, Test and Threat (CPE ST3) to integrate its AI-enabled weapon sensors (AEWS) into the Army’s live collective training environment and tactical network. This effort aligns with CPE ST3’s mission to field live training systems that give soldiers and Observer Controller/Trainers high-fidelity data collection, common operating picture capabilities, and after-action review tools across large-scale collective training events.

Drawing on ARC’s proven expertise in artificial intelligence, real-time data analytics platforms, and high-precision sensor integration, this 12-month effort will make weapon employment measurable during large-scale collective training, turning what has historically been subjective observation into objective, real-time data for commanders and trainers. ARC’s modular open system approach and technology platform is designed to adapt seamlessly to emerging requirements, enabling soldiers to train with the same sensor they fight with. By removing the gap between training equipment and combat equipment, AEWS increases training realism and ensures seamless skill transfer for operational results.
