Vantage Secures $2B Credit Facility, Expanding Financing to Support Growing Demand

Development financing adds another capital tool, diversifies investor access and strengthens delivery certainty for customers

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vantage, a leading global provider of digital infrastructure, has closed a $2 billion financing facility to support early-stage development across its North American platform. The facility provides another source of committed capital as demand for data centers continues to accelerate, strengthening Vantage’s ability to fund projects and deliver capacity with speed and certainty.

Structured as a five-year revolving credit platform (including extension options), the facility includes an initial collateral pool of three development assets and allows Vantage to contribute additional assets over time. More than a financing milestone, the facility advances Vantage’s strategy to build a more durable and flexible capital platform, expanding the company’s options to fund development while serving as a warehouse facility that can support growing customer demand.

“The newly established development facility is a strategic addition to Vantage’s capital platform, providing committed development-stage financing backed by a broader and more diverse investor base,” said Scott Beasley, global chief financial officer, Vantage. “It reflects the scale of our platform, the quality of our development pipeline and the strength of our institutional relationships.”

“Importantly, it gives us greater capacity to move quickly, provide certainty for our customers and deliver the infrastructure needed,” added Rich Cosgray, senior vice president, global capital markets, Vantage.

Evercore and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, served as lead arrangers to Vantage for the transaction, which included a dozen insurance and other institutional investors. The facility builds on Vantage’s broader capital strategy with the company closing on more than $40 billion of capital this year to support its global growth, diversify funding sources and optimize its capital structure while maintaining flexibility in its equity capital deployment.
