Andrea Keenan, executive vice president and chief strategy officer, will open AM Best’s “Insurance Market Briefing – CIAB,” with welcome remarks and provide a market overview, highlighting leading topics such as private credit, the use of artificial intelligence, the growth of alternative risk transfer vehicles and captives.

Stefan Holzberger, executive vice president and chief operating officer, AM Best, will present the latest developments in the global reinsurance market. During his session, Holzberger will evaluate the trajectory of the current softening cycle and examine the impact of alternative capital and insurance-linked securities. Discussion topics also will include the forces most likely to influence market conditions as the industry approaches the critical Jan. 1, 2027, renewal season.

Current trends in the fronting market and the diverse and maturing delegated underwriting authority enterprises (DUAE) market, which includes managing general agents (MGAs) and other similar entities, also will be a focus of the briefing.
