ACS to Accelerate Development of Autonomous Precision Capabilities for U.S. and Allied Forces

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACS, a precision robotics company for defense, today announced the opening of an engineering office in Mountain View, Calif. ACS will recruit elite electrical, software, and computer vision engineers to accelerate the development of autonomous precision capabilities for U.S. and allied forces and critical infrastructure around the world facing the escalating threat of low-cost weaponized drones. The expansion will further strengthen ACS’s existing team of world-class engineers in Austin, Texas, designing, building, and deploying mission-critical systems to defeat hostile drones for a fraction of the cost of conventional interceptors.

ACS announced a major manufacturing expansion in Austin to rapidly scale production of the Bullfrog™ autonomous weapon station, which combines computer vision, autonomous control, and precision robotics with existing weapon systems to provide a scalable counter-drone solution. Bullfrog is deployed with the U.S. Army and Navy and was selected by the Marine Corps for its critical Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) program. A member of the Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) 401 CUAS Marketplace, ACS is working in partnership with JIATF 401 to accelerate Bullfrog’s deployment across the U.S. military.
