Concentra Expands Florida Footprint with New Daytona Beach Medical Center

New center accelerates access to occupational health services for employers and employees across Volusia County

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Concentra® (NYSE: CON), the nation's leader in occupational medicine and workforce health services, today announced the opening of its newest Florida medical center and first location in Volusia County. The Daytona Beach medical center expands access to occupational health services for employers and employees throughout the Greater Daytona region.

Daytona Beach sits at the intersection of two critical Florida transportation corridors and is emerging as a center for business and job growth. In 2025, Team Volusia Economic Development Corporation (EDC) reported that local economic-development projects generated more than $423 million in economic impact, 610 announced jobs and $175 million in capital investment.

The new center, at 2200 W. International Speedway, Suite 2, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114, near Interstate 95 and Daytona International Speedway, is positioned to serve employers throughout Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Port Orange, Holly Hill, South Daytona, and neighboring communities. Concentra will commemorate the opening with a ribbon-cutting celebration on Sept. 16, welcoming employer partners, community leaders, local elected officials, and representatives from the Team Volusia EDC and the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce.

“Daytona Beach is proud to welcome Concentra as it opens its first location in Volusia County,” said City of Daytona Beach Mayor Derrick L. Henry. “Their decision to invest in our city is another sign of Daytona Beach’s continued growth, and we look forward to having Concentra serve our community and the region.”

The Daytona Beach medical center offers comprehensive occupational health services designed specifically for employers, including work injury care, physical therapy, Department of Transportation physical examinations, pre-placement physicals, medical surveillance, respirator fit testing, drug and alcohol screening, and other workforce health services. Concentra Telemed® is also available for eligible minor work-related injuries.

"Timely access to clinicians who understand the complexities of occupational injuries, job demands, and regulatory considerations can make a meaningful difference for employees and employers," said Janet Cobb, MD, senior vice president of Concentra medical operations. "We're excited to bring Concentra's occupational medicine expertise to Daytona Beach and partner with local employers to support appropriate care and safe return-to-work."

The opening reflects Concentra's continued investment in Florida as employers face increasing demand for workforce health solutions that improve employee outcomes, help organizations manage risk, maintain regulatory compliance, and reduce the costs associated with workplace injuries.

“The new Daytona Beach center expands Concentra’s occupational health network into a growing market with a diverse employer base,” said Michael Kosuth, chief operating officer and executive vice president at Concentra. “This investment improves access to coordinated occupational health services for area employers and their employees.”

“In collaboration with our partners at the Daytona Regional Chamber, Team Volusia EDC connected with Concentra to explore how we could best support their vision for establishing their first medical center in Volusia County,” said Keith Norden, CEcD, MEDP, President & CEO, Team Volusia EDC. “Concentra will provide comprehensive access to occupational health services for companies in Volusia County, in support of both operational growth and their employees. Team Volusia is pleased to welcome Concentra to our business community!”

For more than 45 years, Concentra has partnered with employers nationwide to improve workforce health through occupational medicine expertise, technology-enabled services, and the nation's largest network of occupational health medical centers.
