Glenfarne Group Promotes Oliver Wood to Global Head of Projects
Engineering and Construction Veteran to Guide Project Execution Across Glenfarne’s North American LNG Portfolio
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Glenfarne Group, LLC, a global developer, owner, and operator of energy infrastructure, today announced the promotion of Oliver Wood to Global Head of Projects.

In this newly created role, Wood will guide all engineering and construction activities across Glenfarne’s North American LNG portfolio. Wood will be part of Glenfarne’s executive team leading technical definition, development and contracting strategy, project execution and controls, safety, and operational readiness for the company's LNG projects in Alaska, Texas, and Louisiana.

Wood brings 20 years of project experience in the oil and gas industry, including more than a decade in management positions. He joined Glenfarne in May 2023 as Construction and Module Director for Texas LNG.
Prior to joining Glenfarne, Wood held senior technical and project leadership roles at McDermott International, CB&I, and CJV on major LNG developments including Golden Pass LNG, Wheatstone LNG, the Esso Longford Gas Conditioning Plant, Pluto LNG, South Hook LNG, and the North-West Shelf Venture Train V LNG Project, among others. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Auckland.
