Thirdpath Appoints Ken Wallace as Senior Managing Director, Head of Venture and Growth Equity

Appointment Extends Thirdpath's Full-Spectrum Private Markets Platform, Building on the Firm's Continued Growth

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Thirdpath, LLC (“Thirdpath” or “Firm”), a next-generation private markets solutions platform, today announced the appointment of Ken Wallace as Senior Managing Director and Head of Venture and Growth Equity. In this role, Mr. Wallace will lead the Firm’s venture and growth equity investment activities, spanning fund investments, direct co-investments, and secondary liquidity solutions.

This appointment grows Thirdpath’s offerings, alongside its existing buyouts and credit strategies, to include a dedicated venture and growth equity team. It marks the latest step in the Firm’s continued build-out of providing a full-spectrum private markets offering, designed to help clients access every segment of the alternative investment landscape.

Mr. Wallace will lead sourcing, portfolio construction, and underwriting for Thirdpath's growth equity and venture capital Separately Managed Account offering, providing Thirdpath's clients access to a dedicated growth equity and venture capability alongside its existing strategies.

Mr. Wallace brings more than 20 years of experience investing across the venture capital ecosystem, having partnered with founders, and institutional investors to identify and access high-quality private market opportunities. Most recently, he was a Partner at Nimble Partners. Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director at Industry Ventures and began his investment career at Bessemer Trust. Mr. Wallace earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. in Economics from Wake Forest University. He will be based in San Francisco.

Mr. Wallace’s appointment expands an already experienced investment bench, joining credit leads David Ren and Brent Pasternack and buyout heads Serina Yu and Tim Lee, further enabling the firm to continue to provide deal flow across the full spectrum of private markets.
