Nuveen Private Capital Appoints Robert Rdzak as Managing Director, Consultant Relations

Appointment further strengthens Churchill Asset Management and Arcmont Asset Management’s institutional investment consultant coverage

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Churchill Asset Management and Arcmont Asset Management, the U.S. and European asset management companies of Nuveen Private Capital (“NPC”), announced Robert Rdzak has joined as Managing Director, Consultant Relations. In this newly created role, he will lead engagement with institutional investment consultants across North America in support of NPC’s $99 billion global private capital platform.

Mr. Rdzak will partner with the Nuveen Consultant Relations and Institutional Distribution teams, as well as colleagues across NPC, to expand access to NPC’s private credit and private equity capabilities among institutional consulting firms and their clients. He will be based in Churchill’s New York City headquarters and report jointly to Michael Foley and David Burnside, Co-Heads of NPC Business Development.

“Robert brings a strong track record of building relationships with leading consulting firms and driving positive outcomes for institutional investors,” said Mr. Foley and Mr. Burnside. “His experience and understanding of private markets will be instrumental as we further enhance our engagement with the consultant community and connect investors with the full breadth of capabilities across NPC.”

Mr. Rdzak joins NPC from Barings, where he spent eight years in consultant relations, most recently as Managing Director. During his tenure, he led engagement with investment consultants across private and public markets, helping advance strategy approvals and capital formation. Prior to that, he held business development and institutional sales roles at Ellington Management Group and BlackRock.

“I'm excited to join NPC at such a compelling time in the platform's growth," said Mr. Rdzak. “As institutional investors continue to expand their allocations to private markets, consultants play an increasingly important role in helping them navigate an evolving landscape. NPC’s depth of investment expertise across Churchill and Arcmont creates a compelling platform to serve that growing need, and I look forward to building on the firm’s strong relationships across the consultant community.”

NPC has invested $27 billion across hundreds of private equity-backed middle market companies in the U.S. and Europe over the past year and currently serves a diverse mix of more than 6,000 investors globally through its range of complementary strategies.1 NPC is part of Nuveen, the investment management arm of TIAA, which oversees $1.4 trillion in assets globally.
