Interface Earns Great Place To Work® Certification™ in Every Eligible Country

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Interface, Inc., the global flooring and sustainability leader, has earned Great Place To Work® Certification™ in every eligible country where it operates. This represents approximately 95% of its global workforce, with certifications spanning 14 countries, including the U.S., Germany, the Netherlands, China, and Australia. The milestone underscores the company’s commitment to creating environments where all employees feel empowered to bring their whole selves to work every day.

"The strongest businesses are built by people who feel trusted, challenged, and connected to our shared purpose and values. Creating that kind of workplace is an ongoing commitment and one of the most important investments we can make.”

The achievement is a result of Interface's 2026 Global Culture Survey, conducted in partnership with Great Place To Work®. Based entirely on employee feedback, the certification recognizes organizations that foster high levels of credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. Great Place To Work® does country-by-country evaluations, with participating companies required to meet established thresholds for employee participation, workplace trust scores, and minimum employee counts within each country.

Key results included:

  • 95% of Interface employees now work in a Great Place To Work-Certified™ country
  • 85% employee participation rate, the highest in company history
  • 81% of employees agree Interface is a great place to work, a five-point increase from the prior survey in 2024
  • 71% Great Place To Work® model score, up three points from the prior survey

Achieving certification across all 14 eligible countries is particularly meaningful for Interface, where frontline manufacturing and supply chain employees represent more than half of the employee base.

“We're proud of this recognition because it comes directly from our employees,” said Greg Minano, Chief Human Resources Officer at Interface. “The strongest businesses are built by people who feel trusted, challenged, and connected to our shared purpose and values. Creating that kind of workplace is an ongoing commitment and one of the most important investments we can make.”

Guided by employee feedback, Interface continues to invest in programs and resources that support employee growth, engagement, and development. Over the past year, those investments included expanded leadership development programs, more frequent employee pulse surveys, enhanced culture coaching, additional learning opportunities, and new initiatives focused on employee engagement and community impact.

These country level certifications build on Interface's long-standing focus on employee development, engagement, and creating opportunities for employees to grow and make an impact. Interface believes that engaged employees and a strong workplace culture are key drivers of innovation, business performance, and long-term success, and remains committed to investing in the programs and resources that help employees thrive.
