C Spire Expands Mississippi Fiber Network to Power the AI Economy

New high-capacity corridor between Jackson and Olive Branch will deliver a high-count fiber backbone designed for AI, cloud, data center, carrier and enterprise growth

RIDGELAND, Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--C Spire is expanding its Mississippi fiber network with a new high-capacity corridor connecting Jackson and Olive Branch.

Backed by a significant long-term customer commitment, the project will add a larger number of fiber miles to this 200-mile stretch of C Spire's network, and deploy a high-count fiber backbone with the capacity available to serve thousands of organizations, businesses, and communities along and near the corridor.

The new corridor will connect Jackson, the state’s capital and center for government, healthcare, and enterprise activity, with Olive Branch and the greater Memphis market, a rapidly growing hub for logistics, technology and data center investment.
