SecTor 2026 Announces Content Lineup

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SecTor, Canada’s largest cybersecurity conference, today announced the release of its content lineup for SecTor 2026, taking place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) in downtown Toronto from October 6 to October 8. The event will feature over 40 Briefings selected by the SecTor Review Board, a full day of Summits including the AI x Cloud Security Summit, over 50 Sponsored Insights, and 36 Arsenal tool demos.

As part of the Black Hat global cybersecurity events portfolio, SecTor provides an unmatched opportunity for the Canadian cybersecurity community to convene each year.

On October 7 and October 8, attendees will gain insight into the latest cybersecurity risks, developments, and trends through Briefings including:

  • Ghost in the Weights: The First Model-Agnostic DFIR Framework for LLM Attack Forensics -- In this Briefing, researchers will introduce the first model-agnostic DFIR (Digital Forensics and Incident Response) framework for investigating LLM attacks, featuring a five-category artifact taxonomy covering the OWASP LLM Top 10, open-source tooling, and live demonstrations that provide immediately implementable methodology for responding to AI security incidents.
  • Harvest Now, Decrypt Later: Why Your Data Is Already Being Stolen and What You Can Do About It -- In this Briefing, researchers will present a practical framework for post-quantum cryptography readiness, addressing the Harvest Now, Decrypt Later threat where adversaries are stockpiling encrypted data to decrypt once quantum computers break RSA, ECC, and Diffie-Hellman. Attendees will learn to build cryptographic inventories and develop crypto-agility strategies for rapid algorithm migration.

Beyond the unparalleled learnings at the Briefings, Keynotes, and Main Stage sessions, the Business Hall will showcase the latest products and technologies from leading cybersecurity solution vendors and will take place on October 7 and October 8. Business passes provide access to the Keynotes, Arsenal, Sponsored Insights, additional features like Bricks & Picks, and more.

Additionally, this year’s Black Hat Arsenal at SecTor 2026 will take place on October 7 and October 8. Black Hat Arsenal brings together researchers and the cybersecurity community to showcase and demonstrate their latest open-source tools and products in an interactive environment for both the attendees and the exhibitors. This year’s event will feature 36 in-person tool demos and 8 labs, spanning vulnerability assessments, exploitation and ethical hacking, reverse engineering, and more.
