AEVEX and Divergent Announce Strategic Collaboration to Accelerate Adaptive UAS Development and Scalable Production

SOLANA BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AEVEX Corp. (NYSE: AVEX) and Divergent Technologies, Inc. (Divergent) today announced a strategic collaboration to develop a next-generation autonomous platform designed to address emerging mission requirements and deliver advanced operational capability at speed and scale. By combining AEVEX’s proven experience delivering operationally fielded unmanned systems with Divergent’s advanced manufacturing capabilities, the companies aim to demonstrate how future platforms can progress from concept to capability with greater speed, flexibility, and production resilience.

AEVEX has delivered thousands of unmanned systems globally, demonstrating expertise in rapid payload integration, accelerated testing, and efficient transition from development to deployment. Together, AEVEX and Divergent will explore adaptive airframe architectures and digitally defined manufacturing processes designed to compress development timelines, reduce part count, and support scalable production. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the defense industrial base by modernizing the design-to-production pipeline and advancing approaches that enhance responsiveness to emerging mission requirements.

“AEVEX has built its reputation on operational excellence, delivering adaptable systems that meet urgent needs at scale,” said Manan Patel, Chief Technology Officer at AEVEX. “Working with Divergent allows us to evaluate next-generation manufacturing concepts that could improve responsiveness and bring new flexibility to how future unmanned systems are developed and delivered.”

“We’re proud to collaborate with AEVEX to deliver mass at the pace of need,” said Lukas Czinger, Co-Founder and CEO at Divergent. “Divergent is a force multiplier for our customers’ programs, and we’re excited to integrate DAPS with AEVEX’s field-proven expertise to set a new standard for delivering capability at speed and scale.”

Initial collaboration efforts will center on adaptable airframe concepts, rapid integration workflows, and digitally enabled production methods. AEVEX and Divergent share a commitment to advancing scalable innovation and modernizing the pathways by which new capabilities progress from concept to operational deployment.
