FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Distribution Solutions Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: DSGR) ("DSG" or the "Company"), a premier specialty distribution company, today announced the acquisition of American Fasteners Corp. (“American Fasteners”, or “AFC”), a leading South Florida distributor of fasteners, tools, construction supplies and other industrial products.
The acquisition strengthens DSG’s MRO business by expanding its customer base and presence in the attractive South Florida market while providing additional reach into export markets throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Founded in 1981, American Fasteners has built a strong reputation for exceptional customer service and deep product expertise. The company distributes a broad range of industrial products, including fasteners, power tools, anchors, cutting tools, adhesives, abrasives and sealants, primarily serving construction and related end markets through three locations in South Florida.

We are excited to welcome the American Fasteners team and look forward to building on the strong business they have created.”
“Joining DSG and partnering with the Lawson Products team creates exciting opportunities for our long-standing customers and suppliers, and our dedicated employees,” said Manny Benitez, founder of American Fasteners. “We are proud of the business and relationships we have built over the past four decades, and we believe Lawson’s broader product offering, capabilities and resources will allow us to serve our customers even better while creating new opportunities for growth.”
