CHG Healthcare Appoints Ryan Solomon CFO, Succeeding Rob Millard

MIDVALE, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CHG Healthcare, the nation’s leading physician and advanced practice provider workforce experts, today announced that Ryan Solomon will join the company as Chief Financial Officer. Solomon succeeds Rob Millard, who has served as CHG’s CFO since 2018 and is retiring after more than eight years of leading the company’s finance, capital structure, and risk management functions. Rob will remain in an advisory role to help with the transition before his planned retirement date of January 1.

During Millard’s tenure, CHG grew its family of brands through the acquisitions of Locumsmart, Modio, CareerMD, and, most recently, KREWE Anesthesia, expanding the company’s capabilities in vendor management, credentialing, career services, and anesthesia staffing.

“Rob has been an extraordinary partner throughout his time at CHG,” said Leslie Snavely, President and CEO of CHG Healthcare. “His steady leadership and sound judgment helped guide our organization through more than eight years of growth, and we are deeply grateful for his contributions.”

Solomon joins CHG from Enhabit Home Health and Hospice in Dallas, where he has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2024. He brings more than 20 years of financial leadership, including CFO roles at Aspirion and AccentCare and six years at Apple Leisure Group, where he rose to CFO and helped lead the company’s sale from Bain Capital to KKR and KSL Capital Partners.

“Ryan is exactly the kind of leader CHG needs for its next chapter,” said Millard. “He’s sharp, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about the people behind the numbers. I’m excited to have him join CHG as CFO, and I’m confident he’ll do great things here.”

“What drew me to CHG was its unique combination of mission, culture, and performance,” said Solomon. “From my earliest conversations with the leadership team, it was clear this is a company with an exceptional culture and a deep commitment to serving others. I’m honored to join CHG and look forward to earning the trust of my teammates as we build on the company’s remarkable legacy and shape its next chapter of growth.”

“As Rob begins this well-earned next chapter, I’m confident in Ryan’s ability to build on our existing momentum,” Snavely said. “His experience, curiosity, and genuine care for people make him the right leader to help CHG continue growing in service of our mission.”
