Acturion Group Appoints Tamara Kravec as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

Insurance industry veteran brings deep expertise in finance, operations, and strategic growth

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Acturion, an insurance and retirement solutions platform, today announced the appointment of Tamara Kravec as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Acturion Group. Ms. Kravec will lead finance, treasury, risk, and operations across Acturion’s platform.

Ms. Kravec joins Acturion with a career of more than three decades at the center of the life and annuity industry, holding senior finance leadership roles at some of the most recognized names in the business. She most recently served as Chief Financial and Risk Officer of M Financial Group, one of the nation’s premier financial services design and distribution companies, where she had primary responsibility for the development and execution of the company’s financial and risk management strategies and, as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer of M Financial Re, oversaw the group’s reinsurance operations.

Before joining M Financial, Ms. Kravec held senior finance leadership roles at American Equity Investment Life Holding Company, a leading provider of annuities, and Nationwide, a Fortune 100 insurance and financial services company. At American Equity, she led key finance and treasury functions through a period of strategic transformation. As CFO of Nationwide Annuity, she oversaw finance, actuarial, and reinsurance for one of the industry’s largest and most diversified annuity businesses.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Kravec built deep insurance-sector expertise on Wall Street. She was a Partner and Managing Director at NWQ Investment Management, a Nuveen Investments company, and held senior equity research roles, covering the life insurance sector, at Banc of America Securities, Morgan Stanley, and Credit Suisse First Boston.

“Tamara has built deep, multifaceted expertise in the insurance sector, leading finance at Nationwide, overseeing critical finance and treasury functions at American Equity, serving as CFO of M Financial, and covering the industry as a Wall Street analyst,” said Stephan Muecke, Chief Executive Officer of Acturion Group. “That combination of operating depth and investor perspective is distinctive, and it is exactly what Acturion needs as we continue to scale our platform and pursue our next phase of growth.”

“Acturion has assembled a differentiated platform across insurance, reinsurance, asset management, and annuities, and I am delighted to join at such a pivotal moment,” said Ms. Kravec. “I look forward to working with the team to scale the business with continued financial discipline, risk management, and operational rigor.”
