UL Solutions Launches Retail Total Access™ Software to Help Retailers Manage Supply Chain Quality and Risk

New software platform aims to help retailers enhance transparency, reduce risk and deliver products that meet customer expectations.

  • New Retail Total Access platform gives retailers a single view of testing, inspection and audit data.
  • Software helps teams identify supplier risk earlier and improve quality decisions.
  • Designed for retail supply chains to reduce fragmentation and improve visibility.

NORTHBROOK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UL Solutions Inc. (NYSE: ULS), a global leader in applied safety science, today announced Retail Total Access, a software platform that helps retailers manage product quality and supply chain risk with a clearer, unified view of data.

Retailers are managing more complex supply chains with less tolerance for error, while quality data often sits across multiple systems. Retail Total Access brings testing, inspection and audit information into one place, helping teams see supplier performance, identify repeat issues and respond earlier.

“Retailers need a clearer view of quality and risk across their supply chains and their product life cycles,” said Josh Warren, vice president and general manager of the Retail and Consumer Products group at UL Solutions. “Our Retail Total Access platform brings key data together so teams can spot issues sooner and act with confidence.”

Retail quality teams often face limited visibility into suppliers, disconnected systems and difficulty identifying patterns across programs. These challenges can slow decisions and increase risk.

Retail Total Access helps answer common operational questions, including:

- Which vendors are performing well or trending poorly
- Where repeat failures are occurring
- How many shipments are delayed due to quality issues
- Which regions or factories present a higher risk

The platform includes tools to submit testing, inspection and audit requests, track progress, access reports and images, manage failures and review performance through analytics. It is designed to help teams:

- See quality performance across suppliers and regions
- Analyze trends to support product and vendor decisions
- Identify inefficiencies in quality programs
- Reduce risk from underperforming suppliers

Retail Total Access was developed for retail clients based on customer input and is intended to support changing quality and compliance needs across global supply chains. Features and functionality will continue to evolve and be released over time. Learn more about UL Solutions’ Retail Total Access software.
