Wayflyer Takes Visionaries Summit to New York, Convening America's Hottest Consumer Brands

Wayflyer's second Visionaries Summit runs August 26-27 at KidSuper in Brooklyn, with nine sessions across the two-day event. Speakers include founders from Ghia, Bobbie, STAKT, TALEA Beer Co., Noon World and more, moderated by leaders from Monday Girl, Myca Collective and Gr8 Collab.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wayflyer, the financing platform for fast-growing small businesses, unveils the New York edition of its Visionaries Summit. An exclusive event bringing together leaders of the hottest consumer brands to share the strategies and decisions helping their brands to thrive.

The two-day event brings together founders, operators and investors all shaping the future of American consumer commerce, with a series of panel discussions aimed at sharing actionable insights and inspiring stories for the next generation of consumer brand leaders. Sessions across the two days will cover shelf presence and retail media, building collaborations with cultural staying power, and how founders are turning community into their sharpest competitive edge.

Confirmed speakers include Jane Kate Wong of Noon, Harrison Glatt of Little Spoon, Hilary Dubin of Jones, Jeff Staple of Staple, Kirsten Couchman of Sourmilk, Alec Merlino of Surfing Cow, Millie and Taylor of Stakt, James O'Reilly of Lore, Melanie Masarin of Ghia, Colm Mackin of Act + Acre, Jenna Saesue of 55 Hospitality (Bub's Bakery, Fish Cheeks, Bangkok Supper Club), Grant Eastey and Bart Szaniewski of Dad Gang, Allie Eatroff of Sauz, LeAnn Darland of Talea, Daphne Seybold of Sky High Farm Goods, Alfré Snower of Le Alfré, Greer Hiltabidle of Butter Girl, Matt Hassett of Loftie, and Blair Pfander of Bobbie, with Rachel Wong (Monday Girl), Emma Forman (Myca Collective), Emma Chozick (Gr8 Collab), and Emily Steele (Hummingbirds) moderating panels.

"Working with thousands of brands gives us a front-row seat to what's actually driving growth right now. Our job is to put that vantage point to use, connecting the industry and creating spaces where business leaders can network and share what's working," said Liam Duggan, Head of Marketing at Wayflyer. "We built the panels around that idea. You'll hear from founders doing fifty thousand a month sitting next to ones doing multiple millions, because the problems change, but the ambition doesn't."

"Building Ghia, I've learned more from an hour with another founder than from most of the advice I've read. People are usually more honest in a room than in an interview, they'll actually tell you what broke last quarter. Getting that many brand leaders together makes the whole community sharper, and that's why I'm looking forward to speaking at the Wayflyer Visionaries Summit," said Melanie Masarin, Founder & CEO of Ghia.

The Summit is partnered with Monday Girl, a large collective for female founders, and Myca Collective, a New York-focused network for women building consumer brands, both of whom will also have members moderating panels on the day.

The event follows a sold-out debut in London earlier this year, which brought together consumer brands from across the U.K.; speakers there represented a combined $350 million in annual gross merchandise value, a signal of just how much firepower Wayflyer's network can put in one room.
