Barnes Aerospace Acquires Jet AirWerks LLC to Expand Commercial Aeroengine Component Repair and Overhaul Capabilities

Acquisition strengthens Barnes Aerospace's Component Repair and Overhaul business and expands aftermarket solutions across the aeroengine lifecycle

BRISTOL, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Barnes Aerospace, a global provider of component engineering, manufacturing and repair solutions for the aerospace industry, today announced the closing of its acquisition of Jet AirWerks LLC (“Jet AirWerks”), a provider of inspection, repair, overhaul and disassembly services for commercial aeroengine components located in Arkansas City, Kansas.

The acquisition expands Barnes Aerospace's component repair and overhaul (CRO) business and strengthens its ability to provide full life-cycle aftermarket solutions for commercial aerospace customers. It also advances Barnes Aerospace's long-term growth strategy by expanding repair capabilities, increasing technical expertise and enhancing support for customers seeking reliable, high-quality aeroengine component services.

Jet AirWerks brings complementary expertise in inspection, repair, overhaul and disassembly of commercial aeroengine components, along with an extensive portfolio of approved repairs and significant in-house processing capabilities serving domestic and international customers, predominantly across CFM56, CF6 and CF34 engine families. These capabilities enhance Barnes Aerospace's ability to deliver responsive, high-quality repair solutions while increasing operational efficiency and customer support across the repair lifecycle.
