Professor James Mickens, Katie Moussouris, and Dino Dai Zovi to Keynote SentinelOne’s LABScon 2026

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SentinelOne® (NYSE: S), the AI Security leader, today announced that Harvard computer scientist James Mickens, Luta Security founder Katie Moussouris, The New York Times visual investigator Christiaan Triebert, and Adyen security chief Dino Dai Zovi will headline the keynote-day sessions at LABScon 2026, the company’s invite-only threat-intelligence conference.

They headline an agenda of never before seen research from SentinelLABS, ESET, Google, Microsoft, Check Point, Cisco Talos, Lumen Technologies, and government partners covering Volt Typhoon, Sandworm, and a North Korean cloud intrusion that ended in a multi-million-dollar cryptocurrency theft.

The conference runs from September 16-19 at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia in Scottsdale, AZ, and will highlight research into nation-state threat actors, AI-orchestrated cybercrime, agentic attack surfaces, mobile exploitation, and new tooling to sharpen the work of defenders worldwide.

Headlining this year's event are:

  • James Mickens, Professor of Computer Science at Harvard University – One of the most distinctive voices in systems security, Mickens brings research spanning distributed systems, web security, and the societal consequences of machine learning. His widely read essays and reputation as a sought-after speaker make him one of the field's most recognized voices.
  • Dino Dai Zovi, SVP and Head of Security at Adyen – Presenting "Let's Get Physical: Why Cybersecurity Needs Hardware-Based Security to Survive AI." Dai Zovi won the first Pwn2Own contest at CanSecWest in 2007, co-authored "The iOS Hacker's Handbook" and "The Mac Hacker's Handbook," and previously led applied security engineering at Block. He co-founded Trail of Bits and Capsule8 and served for years on the Black Hat Review Board.
  • Katie Moussouris, Founder and CEO of Luta Security – Created Microsoft's first bug bounty program and led the launch of "Hack the Pentagon," the first bug bounty program in the U.S. government. She co-authored the ISO standards for vulnerability disclosure and handling and served as a technical advisor to the US Wassenaar delegation to help renegotiate clarifications to export control of intrusion software and technology. She is a member of the U.S. Commerce Department's Information Systems Technical Advisory Committee.
  • Christiaan Triebert, The New York Times Visual Investigations Team – A journalist on The New York Times Visual Investigations team, Christiaan combines traditional reporting with digital verification techniques (such as analyzing satellite imagery, open-source data, and audio-visual evidence) to investigate global conflicts and civilian harm. His field work has taken him to a variety of places, including Syria and Ukraine. He has helped uncover Russian hospital bombings in Syria, expose flawed U.S. civilian casualty assessments, reveal Iran’s downing of a civilian airliner, report on U.S. police brutality, and track unauthorized oil shipments.

Now in its fifth and final year, LABScon brings together leading experts to share first-time public disclosures and advanced research methodologies, themes around nation-state threat activity, AI-orchestrated ransomware, supply chain attacks, agentic browser exploitation, mobile exploit frameworks, and hardware-based security.

The conference is hosted by SentinelLABS, an elite research division renowned for uncovering critical vulnerabilities, novel threat actors, malware families, and new attack techniques.

LABScon 2026 will feature keynote presentations and deep-dive technical sessions by distinguished security executives, researchers, and intelligence partners, alongside hands-on workshops, an OSINT capture-the-flag tournament, and extensive networking opportunities.

Thank you to the leading global security vendors sponsoring the event, including: Detections.ai, Validin, Cisco Talos, The Vertex Project, Censys, Epieos, SpyCloud, LetsData, Luta Security, Zenity, VulnCheck, Aesir Security Consulting, and Phyle.
