Vesterra Capital Partners Portfolio Company Bland Landscaping Acquires Charleston Grounds Management and Clear Lakes and Wetland Services to Expand Presence in South Carolina Market

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vesterra Capital Partners (“Vesterra”), formerly known as Comvest Private Equity, is pleased to announce that its portfolio investment, Bland Landscaping ("Bland"), has completed two strategic acquisitions in South Carolina: Charleston Grounds Management ("CGM") and Clear Lakes and Wetland Services ("CLAWS").

Bland is a leading provider of commercial landscaping services in the Southeast, with 17 branch locations. The acquisitions of CGM and CLAWS extend Bland's footprint in the Southeast within landscaping and aquatics services.

CGM was founded by Lee Hickman and provides landscaping services to commercial customers in Charleston with a focus on HOA, townhome, and multifamily customers. Service offerings include landscape maintenance, enhancements, irrigation, flowers, and aquatics services.

CLAWS was founded by Ken Robinson and provides comprehensive aquatics services to commercial customers in Myrtle Beach, primarily focused on HOA customers. Service offerings include lake and pond management, fountain sales and maintenance, and fish stocking.
