“Providing relevant and trusted credentials is a powerful way for associations to differentiate themselves, demonstrate value, and support the evolving needs of their members and industries,” said Greg Kohn, CEO of Virtual. “With PCS, Virtual brings together more than 25 years of credentialing experience, technology, and operational expertise to help associations start, build, and scale trusted programs that deliver lasting value – helping them move their credentialing programs from now to next.”

PCS solutions support associations at every stage of the credentialing lifecycle, from launching or stabilizing a program, to scaling credential pathways, modernizing operations, and optimizing performance through automation, analytics, and continuous quality assurance:

  • Essential Credential System (ECS): PCS offers a scalable, Salesforce-based platform designed specifically to help associations manage modern credentialing programs with greater efficiency, stronger oversight, and audit-ready consistency. With configurable workflows, real-time reporting, and integrations with trusted testing partners, ECS supports the full credential lifecycle from eligibility through renewal. Associations can license ECS to manage programs in-house or leverage PCS to support full-service credentialing operations.
  • Curriculum Design & Learning Pathway Program: As member expectations continue to evolve, learning programs must do more than deliver content. PCS partners with associations and credentialing bodies to design structured learning experiences that build skills, deepen engagement, and create a clear path to recognition.

Additional PCS solutions, including Credential Wallet Card Services, help associations provide professionals with durable, verification-ready credentials that reinforce trust, support in-person validation, and demonstrate achievement.

“Professional certifications are more than credentials; they are enduring markers of trust, rigor, and accountability,” said Jennifer Williams, Senior Vice President, Head of Credentialing, at Virtual. “Building and maintaining trusted credentialing programs requires the right technology, processes, and expertise to ensure consistency, defensibility, and scalability. Through PCS, we help associations manage every stage of the credential lifecycle – from application and assessment through issuance, renewal, and ongoing quality assurance – so they can deliver credentials that meet industry standards and member needs.”
