23 Shore Capital Portfolio Companies Named to 2026 Inc. 5000 List

Recognition underscores Shore’s model for helping founder-led product and service businesses scale, adopt new technology, and build for long-term growth

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Shore Capital Partners (“Shore” or “Shore Capital”), a Chicago-based private equity firm with offices in Nashville, today announced that 23 Shore portfolio companies have been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000, which recognizes the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States based on three-year revenue growth. This result continues a multi-year track record in which more than one-third of Shore’s portfolio companies have been ranked on Inc.’s annual list.

Shore partners primarily with founders and leading industry executives to drive transformational growth in healthcare, food & beverage, business services, and industrial services companies. With a focus on small and mid-sized businesses that provide essential products and services, its buy-and-build model produced Inc. 5000 winners across multiple industries. Shore’s approach is to provide capital and operating expertise in key areas like technology, artificial intelligence (AI), talent development, commercial excellence, and other organic and inorganic growth opportunities.

“We partner with great companies and offer a system purpose-built for founder-owned businesses in fragmented markets to grow faster with less risk,” said Justin Ishbia, Founder and Managing Partner of Shore. “When an entrepreneur partners with Shore, they join a network of over 60 companies managing similar challenges and gain access to resources typically only available to larger companies.”

“The 23 companies recognized on this year’s Inc. 5000 represent teams successfully growing during a technological transformation. AI is rightfully making headlines in mega-cap companies, but small businesses represent 99% of all U.S. businesses. Roughly one third of companies with fewer than 100 employees are using AI today. That creates a ‘microcap-AI-gap’ and opportunity for founders and Main Street companies if they adapt quickly. This year our Inc. 5000 winners are ahead of the curve on leveraging AI in product and service business,” added Ishbia.

In addition to a network that accelerates souring, talent, operational, and commercial value, Shore offers operational playbooks that limit problems of first impression. Of late, this has made AI adoption a core component of its operating model, expanding its dedicated AI Solutions team and facilitating peer-to-peer collaboration between hundreds of portfolio executives sharing use-cases, pilots, and lessons learned.

Beyond backing 23 Inc. 5000 companies, Shore has been named to Inc.’s Founder-Friendly Investors list for six consecutive years in 2025, and ranks #1 in PitchBook research’s U.S. private equity deal volume from 2016 through 2025.
