The Manhattan Life Insurance Company Acquires Union Security Life Insurance Company of New York

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Manhattan Life Insurance Company announced that it completed the acquisition of Union Security Life Insurance Company of New York from Assurant, Inc. in March 2026. Following completion of the regulatory review process for public communications regarding the transaction, The Manhattan Life Insurance Company is now publicly announcing the acquisition.

Founded in 1971, Union Security Life Insurance Company of New York offers life insurance, annuities, and accident and health products in the State of New York. This will be ManhattanLife's second charter in the state, expanding the Company's presence.
