KBRA Assigns Preliminary Ratings to Hildene TruPS Securitization 5, Ltd.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--KBRA assigns preliminary ratings to four classes of notes issued by Hildene TruPS Securitization 5, Ltd. (HITR 5), a securitization backed by a portfolio of bank and insurance TruPs CDO assets.

HITR 5 will have an initial collateral par value of $359.4 million from 76 obligors (88 assets) and total liabilities of $334.3 million. The named manager in this static transaction, Hildene Structured Advisors, LLC (Hildene), can direct a limited amount of sales.

The securitization consists of $230.0 million Class A-1-R Notes, $34.3 million Class A-2a-R Notes, $15.0 million in Class A-2b-R Notes, $28.0 million Class B-R Notes, $18.0 million Class C-R Notes, and $39.0 million of Subordinated Notes. The ratings reflect current credit enhancement levels, excess spread, and structural features.

The Classes A-1-R, A-2a-R, A-2b-R, B-R, C-R and D-R Notes will have par subs of 36.0%, 22.3%, 22.3%, 14.5%, 9.5% and 7.0% respectively. The obligors in the portfolio have a K-PD of 6.5% and K-WARF of 353, which represents a weighted average portfolio assessment between BBB- and BB+.

Kroll Bond Rating Agency's (KBRA) preliminary ratings on Classes A-1-R, A-2a-R, and A-2b-R reflect KBRA’s opinion regarding the likelihood of timely payment of interest and ultimate repayment of principal and the preliminary rating assigned to the Class B-R reflects KBRA’s opinion regarding the likelihood of ultimate payment of interest and principal.
