Media Advisory: FHLB Dallas and BankPlus to Celebrate Rehabilitation of 40-Unit Affordable Housing Community

PATTISON, Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and BankPlus will join the Mississippi Regional Housing Authority VI (MRHA VI) to celebrate the grand reopening of Pattison Homes I & II. An $850,000 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant awarded by FHLB Dallas through member institution BankPlus helped fund the $2.5 million project.

The rehabilitation included new roofs, HVAC systems, energy-efficient windows and more for Pattison Homes I & II, which consists of 11 buildings with one-, two- and three-bedroom rental homes.

AHP funds are awarded through FHLB Dallas member institutions like BankPlus and assist FHLB Dallas members in financing the purchase, construction and rehabilitation of owner-occupied, rental or transitional housing and housing for homeless individuals.
