Kristin Hamilton Joins Funko as Chief Commercial Officer

EVERETT, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Funko, Inc. (Nasdaq: FNKO), a leading pop culture lifestyle brand, today announced the appointment of Kristin Hamilton as Chief Commercial Officer. Hamilton joins Funko from Crunchyroll and will lead the company’s global commercial organization, with responsibility for driving revenue growth, market expansion and strengthening customer engagement across the Funko, Loungefly, and Mondo brands.

Hamilton will oversee Funko’s commercial performance across markets and channels, working closely with Funko’s Product, Brand, Licensing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams. She officially joins on August 24 and will report to Funko CEO Josh Simon.

Simon said: "Kristin brings the commercial leadership we need for the next stage of Funko's growth. She has a proven ability to scale global commercial organizations, build lasting retail partnerships and translate brand passion into sustained revenue growth. As we move faster to bring products to market and shorten the distance between fans and the cultural moments they love, Kristin’s experience will be instrumental in sharpening our commercial strategy and strengthening our relationship with partners and fans."

Hamilton added: "I'm thrilled to be joining Funko at such an exciting moment for the company. Few brands have built the kind of deep, authentic connection with fans that Funko has, and I'm excited to help build on that foundation, expanding its reach, deepening its partnerships and unlocking new growth across every channel where fans want to engage with the stories they love."

Hamilton brings more than 20 years of experience leading commercial, digital, and brand organizations for some of the world's best-known consumer brands. At Crunchyroll, she served as Senior Vice President, Head of Global eCommerce & Direct-to-Consumer, leading the company's global digital commerce strategy. Prior to Crunchyroll, she spent nearly 15 years at Hasbro in leadership roles spanning global eCommerce, consumer products strategy, transformation, brand management, and marketing. Throughout her career, she has led large-scale commercial growth initiatives turning iconic brands into commercial powerhouses, driven digital transformation, built high-performing teams, and partnered with some of the biggest entertainment brands and retailers in the industry.
