ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Abacus Global Management, Inc. ("Abacus" or the "Company") (NYSE: ABX), a leading financial services company specializing in alternative asset management and data-driven wealth solutions, today announced that Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jay Jackson appeared on Fox Business Network's Mornings with Maria on August 4, 2026, to discuss how increasing longevity in the United States mandates a transformation in retirement investing, and how Abacus is positioned to provide the personalized, life-expectancy based planning needed to maximize the more than $124 trillion generational wealth transfer now underway.
During the interview, Jackson explained that longer lifespans are upending traditional approaches to retirement planning, in which investors often shift to conservative allocations too early, using broad data as opposed to individualized life-expectancy based data, and risk leaving significant wealth on the table.
"Time is on your side," said Jackson. "The mistake many people make is going conservative too early in retirement. As Americans live longer, the amount of time you will spend in retirement becomes the number one factor in determining your asset allocation, and most financial plans today simply are not built around that reality."
Jackson noted that roughly $40 trillion of the coming wealth transfer is expected to flow to women, who on average are healthier and live longer, giving them even more time to benefit from compounding returns and equity market participation.
A New Category: Lifespan-Based Financial Planning
Jackson also discussed LifeArc, the AI-powered, lifespan-based financial planning tool Abacus launched in June. Built on more than 20 years of proprietary data, including millions of pages of medical records the Company can now transcribe and analyze, LifeArc treats lifespan not as a straight line but as an arc of probabilities that individuals can influence even later in life, delivering personalized longevity insights that inform asset allocation, retirement income, and estate planning decisions.
"Two 65-year-olds walk into a financial advisor's office today and get the same plan, because the industry hasn't had the underlying data," Jackson said. "This is a new category in how people will evaluate their investments. It's no longer about picking the hottest fund. It's about allocating based on how much time you have."
Mortality Data Infrastructure
Jackson also highlighted the Company's mortality verification infrastructure, which draws on data from funeral homes, hospitals, and county records to help verify mortality events across the United States on a timely basis. Abacus currently provides mortality verification services to pension funds across the country, and Jackson noted that this infrastructure could also support broader public and institutional efforts to identify and prevent improper payments to deceased individuals.
Jackson added that the addressable market surrounding the wealth transfer could grow from $124 trillion to as much as $155 trillion through appropriate allocation in retirement, underscoring the scale of the opportunity the Company sees in this emerging category.
