Plastec Technologies Files Form 15 to Terminate Registration of Ordinary Shares

HONG KONG--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Plastec Technologies, Ltd. (OTCID: PLTYF) (the “Company”) today announced that it has filed a Form 15 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) to terminate the registration of its ordinary shares under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.

The filing follows the payment on August 3, 2026, of the Company’s previously announced final cash dividend of US$0.39 per ordinary share. Upon the filing of the Form 15, the Company's obligation to file periodic reports with the SEC, including its annual reports on Form 20-F and current reports on Form 6-K, was immediately suspended, subject to applicable SEC rules. The deregistration of the Company's ordinary shares will become effective following the applicable statutory period.

Following deregistration, the Company's ordinary shares will no longer be quoted on the OTCID Market. The Company intends to proceed with its previously announced plan of liquidation and dissolution in accordance with Cayman Islands law, subject to the satisfaction of its liabilities and the establishment of appropriate reserves.
