Covista Expands and Strengthens Leadership Bench to Accelerate Purpose at Scale

Scott Liles Expands Remit to Lead Corporate Strategy and New Performance Acceleration Office

Rick Sinkfield Joins as Vice President of Expansion

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Covista (NYSE: CVSA), America's largest healthcare educator, today announced an expanded leadership role for Scott Liles and the addition of Rick Sinkfield as Vice President of Expansion, both in support of the company's three-year Purpose at Scale growth strategy built around four core principles: operational excellence, platform extension, employer integration and technology focus.

"These moves strengthen our ability to execute our growth strategy in the marketplace," said Steve Beard, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Covista. "Scott and Rick bring the integrated, enterprise-wide thinking and discipline to carry Purpose at Scale forward. Continuing to build our leadership bench now is how we ensure our growth ambitions and our execution stay in lockstep to deliver on our purpose: to open doors and unlock potential."

Scott Liles Named Chief Strategy and Performance Officer and President, Medical and Veterinary

In addition to his role as President of the Medical and Veterinary segment, Scott Liles will lead corporate strategy and a newly formed Performance Acceleration Office, effective immediately. Liles will continue to report to Beard.

"Corporate strategy, performance acceleration and the development of new growth capabilities are most effective when approached as a single, integrated function," said Scott Liles, Chief Strategy and Performance Officer, Covista, and President, Medical and Veterinary. "Bringing them together sharpens our view of where to invest and strengthens our ability to execute against the priorities that matter most to Covista's growth moving forward as part of Purpose at Scale."

Rick Sinkfield Joins as Vice President of Expansion

Rick Sinkfield will join Covista on Aug. 10 as Vice President of Expansion, reporting to Beard and joining the company's senior leadership team. Sinkfield brings more than two decades of experience leading growth, legal and compliance strategy in complex, regulated markets across the U.S. and Latin America.

Sinkfield most recently served as Chief Legal Officer at Educational Testing Service (ETS). Prior to that, he spent 20 years at Laureate Education (Nasdaq: LAUR), where he led the company's strategic restructuring and divestiture process and earlier built the company's multi-jurisdictional legal and compliance organization across a nine-country, $3 billion revenue Latin America business segment spanning 150 campuses.

Sinkfield will oversee enterprise-wide expansion efforts, including Chamberlain University's campus growth, as well as other efforts across the Covista portfolio as part of the platform extension principle of Purpose at Scale. He will continue to serve on Chamberlain University's Board of Trustees, a seat he has held since fall 2025.

"Throughout my career, I have focused on building access and opportunity at scale, guided by the conviction that the quality of that growth matters as much as its pace," said Rick Sinkfield, Vice President, Expansion, Covista. "That conviction has shaped how I've approached every role—expanding what's possible while staying grounded in who that growth is meant to serve. I look forward to bringing that same discipline to Covista and to Chamberlain University's next chapter of growth."

Together, these moves add depth to the leadership team driving Purpose at Scale, bringing the organization closer to the health systems, campuses and communities Covista is built to serve. For more information, please visit covista.com.
